SHINY FUZZY MUDDY STARTS TOMORROW!

 Beautiful craft/design show starting tomorrow! 

Shiny Fuzzy Muddy is celebrating its 10th years with a beautiful selection or artists. If you are tired of going to malls to get your Christmas gifts and if you appreciate high quality hand made objects, Shiny Fuzzy Muddy is the event to find your treasures! Participating artists, artisans, and designers are all very accomplished and they know how to combine beauty and functionality in  very harmonious way.

Nana Fro (myself!) will be in the show with clothes and accessories for women and kids. All work done in shibori, with some additional stamping this year. Come to check it out, you won't regret!

BACK TO CULTURE CRAWL!

I was away for the Culture Crawl lat year, taking advantage of our parental leave and spending 75 days in Brazil with family and friends. It is very nice to be back and receive so many guests and visitors in my studio.

I am still making the shibori legwears and I am also now making cotton onesies, and tops and armbands made of very interesting stretchy mesh material. If you haven't been to the Crawl yet, you still have tomorrow to do so. Enjoy and come to say hi at : #235, 975 Vernon Dr. Mergatroid Building

Bazar da Praça

Hello Brazilian clients and friends,

I will soon arrive in Brazil and for the first time my visit coincided with the dates of Bazar da Praça.

I will finally participate of it!

I am bringing legwears for adult, girls, and babies, beautiful second skin tops and onezies for babies, all hand dyed using shibori techniques. I hope to see you all there!

THE ART OF FASHION. CELEBRATE WITH THE VANCOUVER FIBER ARTISTS!

Presented by FibreEssence, Wearable Arts Vancouver, and the Seymour Gallery, Deep Cove

Whatever the weather is like on April 1 this year, you’ll feel like spring has arrived in Deep Cove, North Vancouver when the artists of Art in Fashion show their wares at this one day event.

A fundraiser for the Seymour Gallery, The Art of Fashion will take place in 3 locations on Gallant Avenue in Deep Cove: The Seymour Gallery itself, the neighbouring Artemis Studio and Gallery, and the Cove Creek Gallery just up the street.

18 artists will present artwear and accessories throughout the afternoon, with a fashion parade at 2:30. Prepare to fall in love with handmade lace pendants, or exquisite silver necklaces, sumptuous silk tops and luxurious wool jackets. Felted and knitted, hand dyed, printed and sewn, garments, scarves, hats, bags and jewelry. To complete your pleasure, there will be a proper afternoon tea offered at the Seymour, for just $5.00.
